Meditation & Spiritual Life
Silent Meditation at St James
As part of our ministry of spiritual support and renewal we encourage people to take on a regular spiritual practice. For an increasing number of people this will be some form of meditation and will usually include silence as an integral component.
The meditation sessions are geared to the level of experience of those participating and guidance is given accordingly
Monday 8.00 - 8.30am in the Church during summer and Parish Meeting Room in winter - 'Guided Silent Meditation'
Friday 4.30pm to 5.10pm in the Church - 'Movement into Silence' (begins with a brief spiritual reflection and gentle yoga movements which are done while seated)
