St James’ 1 Albert Street Point Lonsdale (opened for worship 1915) is an historic church with a warm arts and crafts feel. St James’ seats 80. There is a function space attached with bathroom facilities and an enclosed garden. Parking is in Albert Street or the nearby foreshore parking and public bus route is number 56.
Old School Hall a charming function space down the hill from St George’s Church in Learmonth Street, Queenscliff. It is a unique historic building, beginning life as a parish school in 1872. There are two separate halls (including a stage, a grand piano and picture rails for art exhibitions), as well as a generous foyer entrance and commercial kitchen. The history and ambience is enhanced by original baltic flooring and a working fireplace in each space.
